Time to update.

Looong weekend. Very long. I got hypnotised at Post-prom, and that was actually only slightly
stranger that what I though it would be. Yeah. Flying gorillas that morph into being 50 feet tall and disappear in the blink of an eye. There was also the guy that swore he was an Oscar Mayer Weiner. That's stranger than some things I come up with when Joe is over and I haven't had enough sleep.

Really weird stuff.

Been talking to Emily alot lately. I've been (quite rapidly actually) becoming more and more attracted to her personality. I'm really excited for when I get to go up there in July and hang out with her for a week. I'm interested to see what kind of chemistry will be cooked up in that amount of time.

Time to rant.

What is it with people that put song lyrics in their IM profiles? I guess if you write enough random words on a piece of paper and sing it, some poor soul out there will take it to heart and think it is the deepest, most profound string of gibberish ever concocted. Isn't that where the Vatican came from? Anyways, it bugs me. Something about how these songs hold so much meaning for the people.

*sigh*

Shut up. I don't care what song makes you think of your boyfriend, or what song makes you want to kill people. I doubt that most of these people even know what the lyrics to these songs mean, let alone why they play such an important role in their lives. The only song I care enough is the one that can make you run around nude with a carrot up your ass while branding yourself and singing the Hallelujah chorus.

That's the one.

*turns off the television*

May 27, 2004

Well I finished the abstract pieces that I've been working on for the last few days. I have 3 different versions of the same piece, so here are the links to all 3 of them.
Original
Dark Version
Clean Version

I made them so that they would work well as a desktop, so enjoy.

May 26, 2004

feeling pretty good today.
I figure it will be about $2000 to fix the bike, but I only have to pay $500 for it.

*evil grin*

my bike will be worth more when its fixed than before I wrecked it.

May 25, 2004

man am I in pain.

most of my arms, all of my legs, my abs, and my spine are all really sore from the wreck the other day. I guess I should be happy I don't have a broken arm or something, but somehow, the ability to be optimistic eludes me.

I'm really looking forward for July now. The first week of july is when I will be driving up to Erie to visit my grandparents. Well, not only my grandparents. I might sleep at their house, but I guarantee I have a few dates with someone else. ;) So to me, July can't come fast enough.

May 24, 2004

Fixed my bike? Oh yeah. Right.

I guess I had a decent weekend. Except for the last part of yesterday.
Lets just say, the bike got away from me. Apparantly, it doesn't like when I accidentally rev the engine and pop the clutch out. So it decided to get rid of me and go on by itself. 35 feet later it stopped its forward motion. Well, suffice it to say it stopped its motion on all three planes of space.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I wrecked my bike.

May 21, 2004

Oh yeah, and I fixed my bike, so I'm running around on that again.
It doesn't make any noise anymore, and the chain isn't half off of the sprockets like it was earlier this week. So I feel pretty good about that.
I didn't feel like doing anything today, especially at school.

So, I uh....didn't. *shrugs*

Oh well.

May 20, 2004

got 3 different projects in the works right now. I have a pic I'm painting for Emily, I have the re-design for the menus at Oregon Dairy, (which is going painfully slow, since I don't know InDesign that well yet) and then I just started a new abstract with some renders of mine and Joes last night.

Needless to say, I'll be busy for the next few days.

May 19, 2004

erg. Found a great set of photoshop brushes, but can't download them here at school. So I have to find a way to save the address to download them at home. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/7400629/
I have nothing to post with.

Nothing......at all.

Funny how my nothing takes up just as much space as my somethings.

May 17, 2004

man, am I bored.
Really strange story, but I'm glad it happened.

My aunt (my mothers sister) set these two people up for a date way back when, and they ended up getting married, and have a daughter. Those 2 people ended up living somewhere around Erie, where my grandparents live. So now, every time my aunt goes up to see her parents (my grandparents) these 2 people and their daughter go over and visit them. Well, one time it so happened that my mom was up there visiting as well. As it turns out, the people's daughter is almost exactly a year younger than I am, and my mom got her screen name for me.

Interesting enough already, but, I've been talking to this girl (Emily) for about 6 months now, and she's a pretty cool girl. Fast forward a bit and we've set up some tentative plans for me to ride my motorcycle up to my grandparents house this summer and visit them. While I'm there, of course, I'll be going to hang out with and hopefully get to know this girl even more.

Like I said, its an interesting situation, but one I'm glad has happened.

May 16, 2004

Wow. I pulled a few tricks today on my bike, although nothing I was really trying for.
First was when I buzzed some of my friends on the side walk, then did an endo a bit, before going about 35 feet while laying on the back brake and leaving a skid mark just as long.

Woah is right. I also have to get the chain tightened, so I'm going to take it and get everything looked over and prepped up for the whole summer.

May 15, 2004

new work up. My first in a long time.
It feels good to be back into the creative mindset again.
I was trying to experiment with some other styles I've seen around deviantart, and for the most part I accomplished what I set out to do.

Go check it out here

Ok so here are some links to pictures of my bike. These are before I washed it and waxed it, so it looks alot better now.

Bike 1
Bike 2

I think its ok for me to be slightly obsessive over this bike for awhile. Give it time.
*bored*

More Random Crap:
I'm uploading pics of my bike, so I'll be linking to them from this blog. Joe is going to try and secure the s1dc.com, .net, and .org domain names. I think I might as well try and get my own site up as well. nuformz.com is taken, but I think that nuformzdesign.com is still free. I'm the only one I know of who uses "nuformz" as an alias, so it shouldn't be taken. That means I'll have more layout and coding work to do, as well as I'm still trying to learn Flash MX.

May 12, 2004

come on. 45 minutes, and I can get out of here. Only one more period to go.

Random stuff:
I have to work tonight,
then I don't have to work until Saturday.
Working on learning to pop the front wheel off the ground with my bike. Its scary.

I definitely need to get new tires, but I think those can wait until it has to get inspected next month.

May 10, 2004

I'm working on getting a gallery together of some of my better artworks. I'm not sure how I would display it in the blog, but I'm sure I'll be able to figure something out. I'd like to make some animations as well for the header image and also for the links along the side. Just some pieces that flash and move. How cool would it be for me to be able to have a song preload and play as you view my site? I'm not sure how I could do that, but for now its just an idea.

Going to get registration and insurance for the bike today. Which means I'll be riding after school today and tomorrow all day.

May 09, 2004

got the image header up.
kept it under 90kb too. I think I'll have to mess with the layout some more now. Its all too dark. We'll see.

Let me just say, I love my bike.

May 08, 2004

Just popping in to say...

nice blog.

All he needs are some gfx, which i think he told me he's working on.

Nerfty.

and i just noticed that the post times are 1 hour slow. I'd fix it but i don't have admin in here...

so kyle... fix it!

May 07, 2004

Man, this sucks.

*blam*

Time to update again.

Currently listening to MonkeyRadio, I believe right now the stream is playing a.p.e.
Wonderful stuff.

In other news:
The bike will be here. I don't know when, but within a week. I don't know why everything is taking so freaking long, but its starting to piss me off.

May 05, 2004

Alright, so the layout is mostly done. I have to change the colors of the left side bar and the signature area at the top, but aside from that, most everything is done. I do need a good header too. Unfortunately, I won't be able to add any pages aside from what I alreaddy have here, but I somehow doubt that that will be too disappointing.

So my dad is delaying getting my bike, I think. I'm trying to get everything moving quickly, so the guy doesn't get pissed off at me for taking too long, and he just keeps telling me that I'm rushing things. Rushing things? Sorry dad. I didn't know that getting things done quickly and efficiently was such a bad thing.

*sigh*

It used to be I was going to get it today. Then it was Saturday. Now it might not be until next week. (over a week and a half since I told the guy I wanted to buy the bike)

May 04, 2004

AAARGGGHHH!!!!!

WHY WILL MY SHOUTBOX NOT LINE UP CORRECTLY???!!

May 03, 2004

Don't pray for me
I don't need your sympathy
I don't want your God protecting me
Don't pray for me
I don't want your empathy
I don't need your Savior saving me
Don't pray for me

-Marilyn Manson

(I think its a cover song though)
god damn < div > tags won't freakin line up right.

*swears*

oh yeah. that's because the "align" attribute doesn't align the defined element. It aligns the text within the element.

Morons.
This is going to look like crap for at least a day, so bear with me as I renovate.

May 02, 2004

Alright so I stuck the shoutbox back in. I'm working on a brand new layout for this blog. If all goes well, it should look remarkably like a personal website that I've wanted so bad to put together.

Coming soon:
New layout, obviously. This one sucks.
More pages. More content. More POSTING.
Images.
Gotta figure out all this screwy javascript code or php or whatever the hell it is that runs this damn shoutbox.
umm.
Cheeze Curls.

That's right. Cheeze Curls.

Farewell.
Ahh, the pain. Thank god for aspirin. Had a freakin awesome time down there at the mall today and at longs park. Here's how it went:
First, I drove down to the mall. Had a bit of cash on me from selling my car today, so I bought some food and 2 cheap water guns. These came in useful when running full speed around the Food Court, yelling at the top of my lungs, being shot at by none other than Joe, who was also chasing me full speed. (He never hit me by the way. He did miss and at one point soaked a dad eating lunch with his kids.

After that, we (Mark, Gus, Becky, Me, Joe, Andy, Tim, Matt, Jose, Kit, Michael, and some other kid I can't remember his name) drove to the park to shoot more water guns and fight with kendo sticks. Water was shot from car to car as we drove on the road. Much fun here. More water gun fights, random shouted curses, and capture the flag. Then came the kendos. I am proud to say I now have a killer headache, probably a broken neck, and one nasty welt that runs about 13 inches down my right forearm. (from Joe)

Despite the pain, this was the most fun I have had in a very long time.
