Gone.
The bike is gone.
Yup, you've heard correctly. My baby, that one entity that has captured my attention in the absense of a significant other, is gone. It was sold (with my encouragement) by my father to a friend of my sisters.
Got a good amount of money for it, so I'm happy with that, and this also means that I'll have a decent cash reserve when I get home.
Unfortunately, this also means that I will not have a motorcycle this year. (duh.) It pains me to think that I won't have a bike to mess with. There's just no freedom like hauling ass down a twisty road, going much faster and leaning a lot farther than you should be.
Sucks.
